For 2027/28, Bocconi lists different test windows by applicant category: Italian applicants can book from 13 July 2026 to 20 April 2027; international applicants from 13 July 2026 to 19 January 2027. A test attempt is separate from the admission application. Plan backward from your application session, allow approximately 48 hours for the score report, and recheck live availability before paying.

2027/28 dates at a glance
The official online-test page publishes these booking windows:
| Applicant category | Test booking window | |---|---| | Italian | 13 July 2026–20 April 2027 | | International | 13 July 2026–19 January 2027 |
The profile selected on the webtesting platform determines which dates appear. Confirm your official applicant category before purchasing.
Application sessions
The international admissions page lists:
| Session | Application window | Stated result period | |---|---|---| | Early | 2–29 September 2026, 3:00 p.m. Italian time | Mid-November 2026 | | Winter | 25 November 2026–26 January 2027, 3:00 p.m. Italian time | Mid-March 2027 |
The Italian process also includes a Spring Session from 8–27 April 2027 at 3:00 p.m. Italian time, with results stated for late May. Special programmes and applicants requesting recognition of prior university credits can have dedicated procedures.
Dates can change. Treat this table as a checked snapshot dated 27 July 2026 and confirm the live official page before acting.
Practical last test dates
Bocconi says the webtesting platform closes several days before each application deadline. Its examples, subject to seat availability and booking at least 48 hours ahead, identify:
| Applicant/session | Example last available test date | |---|---| | Early | 24 September 2026 | | Winter | 21 January 2027 | | Italian Spring | 22 April 2027 |
These are not reasons to wait until the final day. Bocconi warns that the last dates are highly requested, and the platform also has published closure periods. Choose an earlier date when possible so a technical or score issue does not leave no recovery time.
Booking checklist
Before purchasing:
- Confirm Italian or international applicant category.
- List the programme area and choose standard or Law test accordingly.
- Choose Italian or English test language independently of programme language.
- Check the selection-session application deadline.
- Select an available date with enough time for a retake if needed.
- Pay the €60 fee for that attempt.
- Save the confirmation and calendar details.
Bocconi permits up to four attempts per test type in the cycle, but not on the same day or consecutive days. Read the structure and attempt rules before choosing an attempt type.
What must happen before test day
The official page requires applicants to read the current Instructions and Rules of Conduct. Complete these checks early:
- supported computer, browser, network, camera, microphone, and smartphone requirements;
- a suitable test room;
- identity documentation;
- platform login and support details;
- lockdown-browser and environment-scan procedure.
The real test is audio and video recorded. The free Bocconi simulation does not activate the proctoring system, so it is not a full technical rehearsal.
Test result and application are separate steps
At the end of the attempt, the score appears immediately. Bocconi says the Test Score Report should become downloadable within approximately 48 hours. If the score is at least 17, the result can be used in an application.
You must still submit the separate application:
book attempt → take test → receive score report → choose accepted result → submit application
Taking the test does not enrol you in the next selection session, and the webtesting result is not automatically treated as an application.
Which score can you use?
For 2027/28, attempts from earlier academic years and the online simulation score cannot be used. The admissions page says the application portal selects the highest among multiple submitted accepted results, while the test page tells candidates to select the attempt they intend to use. Follow the instructions presented in the live application portal if these descriptions differ in your case.
Final 72-hour check
- Reopen the official date and closure information.
- Verify time zone and platform access.
- Check that your identification details match.
- Re-run the technical checks.
- Prepare the room exactly as the current rules require.
- Keep the official support route accessible.
- Do not schedule another attempt for the same or following day.
Once booked, use the eight-week plan or compress its diagnostic–repair–simulation sequence to the time remaining.
Scope note
This article covers the standard undergraduate test and general 2027/28 sessions. Law-test purchase, HEC-Bocconi, World Bachelor in Business, transfers, credit recognition, and other special cases require their dedicated official pages. Recheck dates immediately before booking and applying.
